I took my Dad to see Michael Mann’s new film, Public Enemies (with Johnny Depp, left) this afternoon for Father’s Day.

I’m still using up the remainder of my Accu-chek test strips so have been using that meter mainly, but as I was dashing out the door I thought to grab my new Freestyle Lite meter so I could do any tests I needed to in the dark – seemingly what the Freestyle Lite is made for.

Sure enough, about 40mins in I started to feel a bit low so whipped out my meter. How refreshing to only have to get the meter out, not the meter and my mobile phone and somehow have to prick my finger and…

And secondly, here is an aggregate of my glucose readings for the whole day. Note: blue is for low blood sugars, green for in-zone blood sugars and pink for > 7…
