I know that Nic had a bit of a shocker with her pump over the weekend but I have to admit that I myself had a stunner (BGs notwithstanding) catching up with 5 nieces and nephews, inlaws and finally finding a replacement vacum cleaner bag which has eluded me for the last 8 months among much else. The weather was good, it wasn’t overly cold and I didn’t have to work – excellent.

That said, things are going to get a little different for me soon as resigned from my current job last week to take up another position in another company! Hooray! I’m not resistant to change by any means but it can be a little unsettling etc which…

In case you’ve not already picked it up from other things I’ve said on this blog: I am a very organised person. My friends used to joke that I must decide which shoelace I am going to tie up first before I bother bending over to do it. I’m not quite that bad, but the sentiment is right. I like to plan ahead. Funnily enough I think it helps me be more relaxed. If I’ve done my due diligence I spend less of my life having to stress over something I’ve forgotten to do (there are times when I slip up though, you’ll hear about a case like this on this blog pretty soon).

I’ve had a big week. Have been working on a launch since late August, and working my booty off. Some days it’s been like mortal combat on the work front. Some days I’ve spent 75% of my day inside meeting rooms, only to come out to about 55 emails which need actioning, meaning I don’t get home til really late at night, absolutely exhausted, only to have to do it all over again the next day. Some days I’ve had all of this, and several big hypos to boot, just to make things extra tricky.

However – my big launch happened on Thursday. Hurrah!! We cracked open the first bottle of bubbly at 2pm. Then, conveniently it was my work…
