Hi everyone – I got an emails from two readers last week which I would love your input on please.

ONE:

My mum is hosting a radio segment in New Plymouth which starts up soon about diabetes…along with the medical team up there and has been asking me for a name for her segment.  Wondered if you had any ideas on a name and some topics you think would be important to cover?  They will be talking about all kinds of things to do with diabetes and interviewing medical people on the show.
Can you help this BeingDiabetic reader out? Questions:

We’ve had a few posts on this blog about non-T1 parents trying to understand diabetes from their kids’ point of view, but I’m interested in hearing from you T1 mums and dads out there who have kids on how you’ve found your kids’ understanding of the condition change as they get older. Personally, I can’t imagine that there are many conditions…

Happy Monday all, hope you had a good weekend.

I got this email from a reader last week. Can you give any advice please?

I have a 7 year old T1. She has just started on a pump and we hit our first snag when we had to remove the old site.

Does anyone out there have any suggestions on how we can remove it without all the drama.
