That’s awesome news!
I’m writing my letter to Tony Ryall right now petitioning for pump funding and did a quick calculation:
$4,000,000 would fund 500 pumpers at $120 per month for 5 1/2 years. Weight that against the potential for a cure and it is so hard to decided what that money is better spent on huh. I wonder what 4m get you these days for a pig cell trial?

Hmmmm, it’s short vs long term innit…. the op is likely to cost $100k per person once the trials have been proven effective/safe so it seems pretty out of reach already. But I am so supportive of these people going in to bat for a cure. They’ve spent over $60mil already so one does wonder how far $4mil goes.
