As the mum of an 18 month old with type 1, wading thru the thick of the funrasing for pumps, What I would like to know is that if is clearly recognised that pump therapy provides the best possible control for a pregnant woman and there fore the best possible out come for a baby, why is it not recognised as the best treatment available for types ones full stop!!!!</description>

Interesting that Waitemata demand you maintain a decent control in order to keep their 
pump.  And, why not?  Maybe other health boards could do the same thing.</description>
