Hello again everyone, it’s Nic here back again and I never thought I’d say it but it’s great to be back! Perhaps that’s because I’ve managed two days in a row now where I left work by 6pm…. amazing how much more you get time to do in the evening when this happens – I am determined to make this more of a habit than the crazy hours I was doing before I left.

I’d done a fair bit of preparation beforehand so I had the Carb counting and insulin sensitivity factors and things down pat before I ‘plugged…

I’ve not travelled with a pump before and while I’ll have a letter from my doctor and all the necessary documentation for the security at the airport it’s not that that worries me.

I’ve travelled a bit to some rather out-of-the-way places like Russia and Mongolia and I’ve never had an issue but that was with pens so what about the guy on the Cambodian/Vietnam boarder who…
