I had lunch with my friend Michelle yesterday. Michelle’s had a heck of a week – seriously, not the sort of week I wish upon anyone. However, this lovely lady insisted on asking me how things were going with the pump (which I didn’t have last time I saw her) and listened intently when I summarised, which I imagine wasn’t really that interesting for her.

Michelle is a fashion designer, and when I told her I now try to wear clothes with a pocket in them (so I can stick the pump in) or I have to wear something of a rudimentary pouch around my waist to carry it, she fired into action, offering to design me a more trendy bag or pouch and get a friend of hers to manufacture them. Then, this morning when I opened my emails, she’d drawn this lovely pic of me, complete with a cute little red pump pouch.(The other amazing thing is she’s drawn exactly what I was wearing, down to the shape of the brooch on my brown jacket – what a memory! Not sure I was ‘workin’ it’ quite so hard though, nor giving it the Posh Spice pout, ha ha)

I might just take her up on the offer and get a few made! Watch this space.
